Demin Tank Level Falling
Plant: GT-HRSG Cogeneration Power Plant
Query: Demin Tank Level Falling
Explanation of Query: We operate a GT-HRSG cogeneration power plant supplying process steam via a back-pressure Turbo-Generator. On very hot days, with the GT-G operating at maximum load, we keep losing Demin Tank level (even though the Demin Treatment Plant is in service). Can you please explain why this is occurring, what the consequences will be if Demin Water supply is lost, what action/s we should take, and whether or not our Demin Treatment Plant might be too small under these conditions? Thank's, Gary.
